I've taught in classrooms spanning from maximum security prisons to kindergartens. Community college to art school. R1 Universities to regional state schools. I've hosted weekly writing workshops with a handful of dear friends and lectured to hundreds of students. I've found success teaching in large lecture halls and through remote video education.

I earned my MFA from Columbia College Chicago and my PhD from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee.

I am an assistant professor of creative writing at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee.
